The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

...is he capable?
I mean, as far as any political entity demonstrating a semblance of competence goes.
I’m not a fan. That said he’s very polished and very well spoken. I actually think Farnworth is a good politician myself, regardless of his sexual orientation. But I hate the NDP, so there’s that.
“I don’t care what you and some other poster were talking about”
Eby had far too many enemies. From lawyers to mayors, they hate him. His bundle everything he's touched but still has a position of prominence because he beat Christy.
Dix probably made enough positives over vivid before the all to long and drawn out retreat from mandates to make up for his days as Clarke's henchman that plagued his last go at leader.
Farnsworth is a politician that will say and do anything. He was the heavy when it came to mandates outside of Bonnie's jurisdiction.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.
With the new BC budget we still have Family Allowance (or whatever it is called these days) that first appeared post 2nd World War to pay families to have kids and jump start the baby boom.
Today they announce free prescription contraception to keep families from having kids.
Either way, taxpayers are paying for people to fuck.
Whoremongers.

When is ICBC going to use telematics for rate-setting? The last I saw there was a study in 2019/20 for new drivers. I haven't seen any news since. I haven't had an accident in probably 30 years so I wouldn't mind a bigger discount
For those who don't know what telematics is, it's using a device (or more typically, an app on your phone) to record your driving behaviour, which is correlated with accident rates to determine your insurance rate. The major auto insurers in the US having been doing this since 2016 (Progressive) and 2019 (Geico) and the ones that aren't (State Farm) are losing market share rapidly.
If we binned ICBC and had private insurance, you can bet they'd be using telematics.
For those of you that worry about your data, you can opt out.
