The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Exactly... Per is being deceitful.
Ummmm Doc.....he's socialist. Truth is subjective.
Actually not a socialist. I'm more of a traditional liberal.
I know these terms may be confused by Americans, but as a Canadian, you should know the difference.
Especially the BC liberals seem to be pretty far away from socialism, right?
As for truth being subjective, isn't that more of a Trump team thing, what with their "alternative facts" and all... :
Whatever you do, always give 100 %!
Except when donating blood.

Per; Don't even try to understand B.C. politics. It's a different animal. Traditional party names don't necessarily mean what you think they should, not for a long time. For a few decades, it's worked more along the lines of a jump ship methodology.

BC Liberals are that in name only. Right now BC is like little America in that we really only have 2 parties to choose from. Liberal or NDP.....and the latter will run this province into the ground just like they did in Alberta.
"Alternative facts" land on both sides of the political aisle. Frequently. For whatever reason politics everywhere are practiced at the highest levels by people who cannot see both sides of an argument regardless of the facts in front of them, and it is more about making sure the other guy fails rather than seeing the nation succeed. This is why democracy fails on so many levels, because the only people who can stomach staying in politics are the those who are so sold out to their own truths that they can (somehow) convince themselves that 2+2=5 and that red is blue and yellow is just a shade of gray. The sane people get the hell out because you can't have a conversation with brick wall.
A poll also has a time component. By the time the results of a poll have been compiled, they may no longer be representative. Further, and most interestingly, they most likely affect the final outcome. How large this effect is would be very difficult to determine. It would make a fascinating study, if you could figure out how to construct it.

As National Public Radio notes, "lie" implies intent; generally, lying involves knowingly misleading someone for a selfish reason. NPR and other trusted news outlets instead lean toward terms like "baseless" or "without evidence" or "false."
Ahhh an article from journalism experts that says "False" does not imply intent!
(read it all, and please, let's stick to the topic at hand)
But I forgive you Per, I know English is not your first language...
