Happy Festivus

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Happy Festivus

Post by Blob Mckenzie »

Merry Christmas everyone . Play safe and have a great holiday . Looking forward to a big family gathering at our place and hoping it isn't my dad's last Xmas with us .

It would be nice if a certain someone with a gift for poems etc could fire up one for the year 2014 .

Happy festivus Blobby

Cherish every single fucking moment you have with your Dad, Blobby. I lost my dad 4 years ago to leukaemia and miss the guy.

Cheers

Old man died 16 years ago yesterday. One less person to tell tasteless jokes with.

All good SKYO, I mean well, it's the Scottish side of me. My moms family are a war vet hardcore scot industrial types and their way of showing love is putting you down, and kicking you in the teeth. If they are not slagging you constantly it means that they really, truly don't like you. It's ass backwards affection, just how the scots roll

Merry Xmas brother

Merry Christmas to all fellow Canuck fanatics.

I'm doing up a big turkey for me and the old lady tomorrow night, just the two of us. Then I'm going to crush about a dozen turkey sandwiches watching Team Canada slaughter the opposition starting Boxing Day. Got the wife's "to do" list complete, off work until the 5th, hit up the liquor store up here in Yellowknife ($$$ ouch!!) so I'm stocked for the coming week and a half, and now my only plan is to stuff my face and pound the liver into submission.

Cheers all!

Hope that you all have a great Christmas time with the family and friends.

Believe it or not, it will be a quiet one here in Chester. ;)

LOL Hidden behind my woodshed there's a long line of Orange Scots/Irish that crossed back and forth with varying degrees of deportation and exile.

Looking forward to tomorrow morning with my son bounding off the walls after I missed it last year. It will be a fine day with my wife and son.

Just started prepping dinner, cranberry sauce is done, Brussel sprouts prepped, turkey seasoned, garlic to roast, stuffing to get prepped.

Enjoy the day with your families.

Cheers

Merry Christmas

I think he's referring to Donny's annual lengthy ode.

I'm the Christmas Limerick guy.

Sometimes.

Not this year though.

Too late now, hey I need a few weeks notice.

Anyhoo, just waiting for the company to show up.

Wifey has been cooking for 2 days.

The bar will be open and Strangelove's Magical Martinis will be flowing.

Yup, houseful tonight, and then we help fill up me mudder's house tomorrow.

Dad checked out 18 years ago.

Very large family, butt I'm the only asshole.

And probably the only Christian... well, other than wifey of course... and a few semi-christians.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FOLKS!!! :santa:

Bastards got me waxing all poetic now.

I'll leave 2014 for Donny...

Plenty o’ haters hate Nucks and their rolls,
Cuz Nuckers are jerks or so say the polls.
I’ll tell ya what’s up,
Canucks win the Cup,
Then watch their fans become TOTAL assholes!
