Started as a wee lad in Chinatown in the 70's...this Ranch Parkian would venture down to the alleys to find ways to be the white Bruce Lee...Wing Chun, Jeet Kune Do, loved to beat up the tough guys in Macs & Daytons (always went for their weak knees)...
Oh it's true....soooooo...true...then I got into Taekwondo because I loved to roundhouse and to power kick.
But the Kata was kinda gay so I moved onto Hung Gar Kung Fu (actually Gung Fu from the Taiwan Cantonese (I can swear really bad in that language but all the Mandarins don't understand me as they drive shitty by

DEALY LO MAAAAAAA....

So my animal monk Drunken Monkey served me well against the Communist clubs in the day...fuck'n creamed a few coolies too....
My weapon of choice was the staff...although I liked nunchuks...
Alas, the Hard Style had it's toll on my 6'3" frame so I had to move on to greener, gentler pastures and found Aikido...way of the sword...it was good, non-contact wrist locks and take downs but it was a little culty, plus my knees didn't like it as I got older....
So know I want to get back into it at age 49...I was think'n Tai Chi (Soft Style) but not sure...
Anyone have any experience with the Arts?
The UFC is the dumbest thing on the planet...worse than that fake gay wrestling...elbows, elbows, elbows...no skill...
I was thinking of Irish Stick Fighting, maybe the Brazilian shyte....I miss the Dojo...
