The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Murphys Law you generally get through the travel unscathed and the lock you up in the hotel!
At least the hotel compensates you. Trying to get anything out of airlines or airports is impossible. Nothing is ever anyones fault!
Canadien airlines gave tons of shit away. I scored a free trip anywhere in the world out of them just because someone stole my shoes and shirt and I boarded a flight in just my shorts lol
How long ago was that?
At the rate they screw up these days no one would be in biz anymore.
Mid to late 90s sometime. I walked on a Fiji air flight to Hawaii with a 24 of stubby Fiji bitter bottles for carry on, a huge straw hat and shorts...that's it. My transfer in Honolulu had cdn deny me access to the plane because I was in shorts but offered me to stay 3 days there and gave me a free ticket anywhere the Star Alliance flew in the world...they had oversold the flight back to van. Best deal ever

I’ve gotten compensation for luggage not arriving on time. And back when I worked for the pulp mill and attended corporate meetings in Düsseldorf on a regular basis, the flight back to Stockholm was often overbooked. They’d then offer like EUR 300 if someone agreed to take a later flight and I took that offer a couple of times. It was like a three hour delay, so pretty good compensation imho.
Whatever you do, always give 100 %!
Except when donating blood.
