The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Who listens to Podcasts? What’s the deal with them? This world is completely foreign to me. I wouldn’t even know where to begin to find them
Podcasts? I dunno, sounds like Invasion of the Body Snatchers shit.

Pick a topic and there are podcasts to be found. I listen to one related to my son's sport and there is some damn good stuff on it in very personal interviews with the top pros. The host, one recently retired and one current pro do a good job. Within the sport, most of the top athletes are friends and spend a lot of time training together so the interviews become conversations between friends. Great detail on brutal training regimes that they somehow enjoy (endorphins?). Amazing how fucked up these elite Olympic level athletes are, suicidal depression, drug abuse, alcohol abuse abound and how horribly lost most are when their careers are done.
Great for listening to while driving. The shows I listen to are 1.5-2hr long so they were great on our trips to Spokane and back.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.
