I would like to know when the Canucks will sign anybody who knows anything about putting the puck in the net. All they have done is sign a bunch of fourth line players who won't help zilch in the goal scoring department which is what the Canucks are sorely lacking.

Maybe, maybe not. At best, Isbister and Shannon are guys with offensive potential that can be realized with good coaching, and if not, then signing guys like Isbister and Ritchie and re-signing Cowan can be seen as a move to make Cooke expendable, so that he could be traded for a real offensive threat, as Nonis has already stated that he wasn't wild about the options available through the UFA market, and most certainly weren't good value.
