Sportsnet.ca - According to CFRA radio in Ottawa, the Senators Wednesday night game versus Montreal was attended by four pro scouts from Los Angeles -- one of which is rumoured to be watching captain Daniel Alfredsson.

Alfredsson has put up below-average numbers so far this season, scoring just one goal and adding five assists. The lone goal came in the Senators opener versus the leaves, 10 games ago.

Conroy & I would think a prospect going to Ottawa in return??
Anyone heard any more on this rumour or others involving Alfredsson?

MUCKLER DENIES ALFREDSSON ON THE BLOCK.

OTTAWA SUN: Chris Stevenson follows up on his earlier blog report regarding a potential trade of Daniel Alfredsson to the Kings. Stevenson reports Sens GM John Muckler told Sun hockey reporter Bruce Garrioch there is no deal in the works to trade Alfredsson to the Kings. Stevenson does note that those four Kings scouts weren't attending last night's Senators -Canadiens game to scout the latter.
