I’m not giving up on Cossa yet. Both goalies have been killing it in the Dub this year. But I don’t think it’s blasphemy to say Canada’s less than stellar goaltending the last 20 or 25 years has cost them a handful of gold medals. I guess it gives the other teams hope, because we are usually head and shoulders better throughout the lineup.

Owen Power is a real nice player. Moves well for a big kid. Sees the ice so well.

1. Michkov
2. Bedard
3. Fantilli
Someone mentioned Michkov was under contract with his KHL team until 2026 during the WJC coverage on TSN.

I think that just might bump him down a few spots because a bottom feeder team usually doesn't want to wait three years (2023-2026) to sign a high first round pick.

It was a test to see if you are still on the ball or losing it yet

Is Shane Wright the next Lafrenierre, Byfield, Nolan Patrick? What’s wrong with him this year?

I guess that’s why he’s playing a top 6 role.

You’re talking to a guy that hates Canadian prospects, especially kids from BC.

You do realize he’s not playing up to these grandiose expectations we all have of him do you? He’s not having a stellar year in the O and is struggling to find “that” game of his at this years WJC. I hope it’s just a funk

They’ve played 1 game in the tournament.

But I understand if him failing is a massive feather in your cap. You’ve been wrong so many times.

To be honest I think Fantilli will go 2nd overall after Michkov

You don’t cheer for Canada. Never have. Be honest about something ffs. Even in 02 and 2010 at Central you were all in on the US. Own it. :)

Even though he’s a miserable drunk like Doyle, Bob Murray has done a spectacular job rebuilding the Ducks. Comtios has been injured all year, drafted from the 2017 class (same class as Vilardi) is looking like a massive steal. What’s wrong with Rob “Jack Gordon” Blake?

As I thought. He ran like a scared rat in 02 and 2010 and tried to climb back on the Hockey Canada bandwagon after they won. Pretty sure a similar result will be upcoming. The best was his weird trashing of Bowen Byram a couple years ago the the TOI stats were pointed out and he ran for a rat hole.
