I’m seeing a very solid player low maintenance player in Podkolzin, whom coaches will love, well suited for the disciplined 200’ game that is the requirement in the NHL today. His Russian teammates, coaches and managers can’t stop talking about his leadership qualities, that’s NHL material. It wasn’t too long ago when the hockey world was enamoured with Mittlestadts game at the WJC’s. He stinks in the NHL. Podkolzin won’t struggle in the NHL as he is playing an NHL game already
