He may have earlier... but he clambered aboard the Pettersson bandwagon well before the draft. :santa:
Dude is schizophrenic about every prospect in every draft. The guy flip flops more than Reef.
But the JimBro was right, right?

Canada all over sweden on the forecheck...no room to move or time to think...

Swedish coach looks like he yanked Pettersson off the top line...one too many turnovers. Hes struggled

Sweden is the more talented team.

Pettersson is easily out muscled. Physically, one of the weaker players on the ice.

I can see why Steenbergen has been stapled to the bench.

Ya hes a ways out from being able to jump into an NHL line up.

Who are some other bird boned players from the past that went on to have decent careers? I know Gretz was a toothpick but this kid looks like he needs a bowl of porridge from unicef

i wouldn't be terribly worried UDL. It's a 19 year old's tourney, and Petersson is built like a 16 year old.

He'll get there on talent alone, but it'll just take a couple years for his body to catch up.

Re: Pettersson weight issue.

It's why if he makes the Canucks on his talent alone next season, it's best if he's sheltered in between a veteran two-way presence in Eriksson and the rugged & even bigger dude by next year Virtanen, because every year he should be piling on the lean muscle, JV should be gunning for the optimal Iginla size of 6'1 - 210/215lbs.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.
