It did not have an Olympic feel to it at all, for me.
I do recognize the money making end of it for the league.
Maybe it's just a problem with me, although I, as usual, find myself looking forward to the new NHL season.
If I had to make a guess why I didn't like it;
The two split teams made it hard for many to root for their country.
I just don't think this time of year works well anymore even though there's no other options for it.
Guess I just liked the every four year, middle of the season, Olympic break better...
The 2 pre-tournament games against USA had me glued and really looking forward to it.
Sadly every other game has sucked except the north america teams games. Sweden were pathetic in my eyes....US even more so. Canada for that matter is even a little lame to watch in that they just seem to roll over everyone with very little competition.
Bring on the nhl season and actual physical battles

I actually feel bad for 'Europe'. They really deserved that one.
Hansen had a really good game. It bodes well for the upcoming season.

So does Krueger's performance get him a new look in the NHL? It was impressive.

The tournament was "ick"
Even the preseason games are better. Ya, ok, guess I have to say, IMO.

Nice new bottom line, Blob.
That should leave quite the taste in some mouths, not mine though... :) :)

What is wrong with some of you? We won and looked good doing it despite what some say. Fucking machine. Put it in gear to win. Two goals in last three minutes and one short-handed! Pre-season looks better? Fuck me. Get your head out of your fundement boyo :D

It was an all star game style tournament except for the 2 games against the us in pre-tournament. Zero hitting and the team played at about 60% engaged. Its why Canada looked like balls against the europe team.
I also enjoy the canucks pre-season games more. Guys are all in
