So I just watched the highlights as I'd missed some of the 1st. I saw Pearson fought, Miller fought, ...

They weren't even alive back then. But yeah I love our Russians. Notice how Podkolzin was there for JT when he got injured. Kid was brought up right.

Silver lining to the shitty start- that annoying crap is done thank fuck
A few wins and some confidence will fix 90% of the problems with this team.
That and having QH back.

JT looked in a lot of pain when he was leaving the ice.
With Miller, despite his talent, I have concerns about his propensity for being a Drama Queen. Not in the drag queen patch but definitely suited for living life emotionally. I hope he is well.

Petey is becoming a star.

Well, it seemed pretty obvious the first two seasons that he would, but then the pandemic hit, causing a shortened season, then he had some injuries, he started to question himself, started complicating things, etc.

But he turned a corner again mid season last year. He had 68 points in 80 games, but if you split that season in half, he only had 20 points (9+11) in the first 40, and then 48 (23+25) in the last 40, including six games with 3 points or more.

I expect him to put up at least 40 goals and 90 points this season. :drink:

This is Travisty hockey, not Bruce hockey. This is forced low percentage passes looking like a sea of Stetchers. CYA dumps to teammates in worse situations. Fumbling for the highlight reel goal.

Bruce hockey is pucks and bodies, everything to the net. Good things, including confidence, will happen.

Kitty bar the door hockey. Nice to see some emotion though if nothing else.

This seems to be the big difference from Travisty A.D. to the beginning of this season. Except the special teams are somehow worse.

Last night the old hens Schenn, Myers, OEL played over their heads to protect the chicks from getting eaten alive by Krack. I'm concerned that it takes that much effort just to barely eke out a win against expansion teams.
