Nevertheless sign-and-trades do happen.

And as you said: "being signed at $6.65 for 3 actually improved his value".

For an RFA they're very rare and for a pending UFA or one that could be, in a scenario where they accept a lower amount than they can get from the open market or a QO, it just ain't happening.

Versus signing for the qualifying offer or more? Absolutely, but that doesn't necessarily make him tradable right now, and as I posted previously, they aren't likely to get any interest unless he goes out and scores 30-35 goals this season.

Good Lord, you're like a dog with a bone Curm!

Yes it's rare, I've never said otherwise.

Not sure how I got caught up in this, I just mentioned it was a possibility.

Recall I never wanted it to happen, that was my good buddy Strawberry.

I've been asking Strawbs all along to give Brock another season...

Well he has paced at 30 goals his entire career so there always has been interest in Boeser.

Personally, I hope he hits 35 this year, but if he does... does anyone still want to trade him?

Lol, yeah, kind of what I had posted last week.
Absolutely, you're right, Boeser and Garland make total sense. I think in Boeser's case, based on his contract, he'll need to score 30-35 goals or at that pace to get the type of D the team needs. I really hope he does it, even if they don't trade him that's a player worth having, and from a personal standpoint, I'd like to see him do well.

Since he missed much of camp has is just returning to play, I'll wait a few games to see how high the dead cat bounces.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.
