I look at this lineup on paper tonight and it looks horrendous... a blowout waiting to happen.
Then you watch and it was one of the best systems game of the season.
There's been a single new addition, meaning it's the same frickin' lineup. No way the previous GMs work is as bad as its made out to be.

Not the best, but at the core of the matter, he's damn good.
But it seems urine the minority in this town if you voice this opinion.

The previous GM's work looks as horrendous as it does/did because he stuck to his guns and kept Green around.Carl Yagro wrote: ↑Mon Apr 18, 2022 10:03 pm I look at this lineup on paper tonight and it looks horrendous... a blowout waiting to happen.

As for best game of the season.....
The ambo had to roll during the 2nd intermission so I missed the final frame, however the first 40 minutes were perhaps the most complete effort I have seen from the Canucks in a very long time (possibly since the playoff bubble in Dedmonton). They came out fast and they never sat back.

That slug Miller didn't get any points. He is letting the team down playing that way!! trade him, he has peaked.
The only HW the Canucks need

Possibly. It was a pretty important town in Sweden back in the viking age and a religious centre for the pagans. Also the site of Sweden's first cathedral and oldest university. It's now like Sweden's fourth biggest city and just 70 kms north of Stockholm. Stockholm's main airport, Arlanda is 40 kms north of Stockholm, so it is actually closer to Uppsala. I think that may have been why he chose that venue. A university town near Sweden's biggest airport, and less traffic in that direction then toward Stockholm. He said on stage that he was flying home right after the gig so that he could be with his kids in the morning.damonberryman wrote: ↑Mon Apr 18, 2022 7:52 pmUppsala? Is that not where Ragnor Lothbrok went?Per wrote: ↑Mon Apr 18, 2022 12:11 pmOH! I'd buy that!
Sounds like something he'd do back in the early 1970's when he was a fricking genius!
Saw him live in Uppsala a couple of years ago. He is still an amazing piano player, but he was a better singer back in the day.
Still an awesome experience to see him live though.
