Sure, Pettersson had a string of games where he was producing like old, but remember how bad he's been last season and the start of this season? Yeah, wrist injury and all, but both him and Brock are SO easy to check now the opposition focus on them.

There's a very real scenario that they can't come to terms with Miller in the summer and decide to get something for him. I don't see Petey having the same kind of impact or production to replace Miller as the #1 center. He certainly hasn't driven play like one, not even on the powerplay.

Petey needs to spend the summer with the Sedins. Learn how to fain a bit of weight, and more importantly, learn how to protect the puck.

Speaking of that, Muttley107 has 14 posts in the GDT over in Hell.

That would be like every other post here.

(Hi Gomer!)

And while he's doing dat dere, he's managing to post countless Metallica and Iron Maiden videos in the music thread.

He's in the shitter now grunting like a hog.

Okay, sue me, I took a quick peek, back on topic...

If he wants 8.5m x 8, you just trade JT Miller, you just do.

He’ll never have another season like this one. Trade him at his peak value.

But he won't.

He knows no team will give him that.

You re-sign JT to the fair contract he wants, you just do.

From what I have seen Jaro Halak is very comfortable not moving.

Almost like not moving is second nature to him...
