Is their some law against sending Hoglander down to Abbotsford to allow him to get his confidence back and to round out his game? That's what a smart general manger would do imo.

Well, Jimmy happens to be a genius.

What I'm wondering is...can a regular guy figure it out before the season's over?

Hopefully he's on his way back to Czechoslovakia.
Too soon to ask if he speaks Ukrainen?

You're usually a pretty hard-core loyalist Canucks backer. What are you slagging their POHO?
I have my reasons, you're just going to have to trust me...

Yeah, that Halak is a bum. Who signed him again?
Thanks for asking.

Mr Benning knew Halak would play his heart out to ensure he got 10 games for that bonus.

Mr Benning's plan was to trade/waive Halak after his 9th game (he was playing great at the time).

Blobby's boi Rutherford has dementia.
That must be why he gave him the NMC.

Just checking back to back Canucks games this season. Seems our record is pretty bad on those 2nd nights.

Feb 27 - W (5-2 rags)
Feb 28 - L (7-2 isles)

Feb 8 - W (5-1 yotes)
Feb 9 - L (6-3 isles)

Jan 15 - L (4-1 canes)
Jan 16 - W (4-2 caps also on b2b)

Dec 29 - W (2-1 ducks)
Dec 30 - L (2-1 kings)

(Green)

Nov 28 - L (3-2 bruins)
Nov 29 - W (2-1 habs)

Nov 13 - L (7-4 knights)
Nov 14 - L (5-1 ducks)

Oct 15 - W (5-4 flyers)
Oct 16 - L (3-1 wings)

Yeah the back to backs are tough for everyone! I'd be willing to bet even some of the best teams in the league sit right around .500 or so on these games.

Even Carolina got beat 7-4 on the second half of a back to back by the Devils.

You just can't match the energy level of teams that are rested.

Which then begs the question (nod to MCP).

Should you really be starting your 'Lak up goalie in games where your team is historically destined to sag or should your stud not be in to try and steal 2?

Especially when you are in dire need of points in the standings.

Yeah, but you have to play your backup in some of these games.

Can't risk Demko getting tired, injured or getting bombed and losing confidence.

The horrendous start by the coaches and some of our top players really hurts because despite some ugly losses, we've been winning at a good clip.
