GDT: Canucks @ home vs. Panthers - Jan 21 - 7 pm PT, SNP, SN650

Post by Cookie La Rue »

Hoping everybody understands now where the game is. :D (And the home is in Vancouver.)

With the bad news of a little too many key players missing i fear this is my last GDT, even if i'm using "smørrebrød" super powders. Fuck.

We absolutely need the Cookie Monster for goaltending. DiPietro? Fuck.

We're doomed, go Canucks go, against all odds, it's important.

ps: Gabby needs a recipe from the swedish chef for the line combinations.

Hey Florida, leave a loonie on the dresser after you finish raping them.

This is gonna be ugly.
They should flip the young goalies in and out after each surrendered goal to slow down the flow and see if one of them can get hot.

I’ll be covering my eyes and peeking through my fingers to watch this one.
If they don’t lose as badly as the Oilers 6-0, it’s a win.
Don’t get SHUTOUT!

Might be a good game to wear the Abby uniforms...

We'll need all the #COOKIEPOWDER, #RATPOWER and #ENHANCEDSCURRY we can muster!

This one could be painful, which sucks cause based on the schedule the top team could be ripe for the picking.

Canucks just hanging at home, Panthers shit kicked the Oilers last night, Eastern teams don’t often travel much until they hit these western swings.

Have a feeling we’ll see both tenders tonight out of sympathy though.

Anyone able to go deliver Petey some pure #cookiepowder?

Go Canucks Go!

Maybe the cats will be too tired from scoring all those goals last night? :?

Extraordinarily tired from raising their arms so many times in celebration??

Their high minute man among forwards was Huberdeau (reg. ice time is 19:11), unsurprisingly... and played just over 20mins. The next was Barkov at 17:45 (reg. ice time is 19:55) followed by everyone else below the 17 min mark. Most were 13-15. I'm guessing the 16 mins in penalties was the only reason Huberdeau and Barkov were over the 17min mark as both are key PP players, and kill penalties as well.

Sometimes you just know it's an impossibility. The only thing that can save us is if QH EP and BB load up on cookiepowder and drop 30 minutes/5points each tonight

(Oh and btw....Spencer knight is a sieve so there's that)

Watch Spencer steal one! LFG!
He needs to harness his inner David Ayres zamboni driver - one off game - where he beat the leaves.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Martin Spencer my good man.

Based on goalie work before morning skate, appears Spencer Martin will indeed make his first NHL start in five seasons for Canucks; get to know Vancouver’s newest goalie, and how his game has evolved in this feature interview from InGoal Radio Podcast:

LOL, 4th line is now 2nd line. Lammy doesn't want to pinch himself and wake up from such a sweet dream.

Slug line for the 3rd.

4th line gets what, 5 minutes?

Bruce employs Green's old tactics to survive.

Oh boy.
