Thatcher Demko matches career high for wins in a season (16 - set last season).
Today also marks 16th time this season Demko has allowed 2-or-fewer goals against in a game (31 saves on 33 shots by Caps).
“I know what I’m capable of,” says Elias Pettersson.

Boudreau: "We got to shore up our penalty kill"
“It’s not easy when you’re seeing it on TV, you’re hearing about it on the streets,” Boudreau channeling Canucks Twitter in discussing the pressure on Elias Pettersson."He was our hardest worker at practice and he wants to be the best"
"He was rookie of the year because of his moxie and intelligence... he's one of those guys that doesn't give up on the puck in the offensive zone"-----------Boudreau notes - importantly - that Garland tested negative *twice* prior to playing against the Hurricanes on Saturday.
--"He was looking right at me and I said 'NO MORE!'"-Bruce Boudreau to Alex Ovechkin after Ovechkin scored his power play goal in the first period and looked at Boudreau

Didn’t get to watch but glad to see the special teams kick in a couple, in particular Petey scoring.

End with a W in Nashville and it’s a half decent result on a deadly road trip after a long break.

Get home and continue the solid play and the wind will come.

Yes! We'll need the wind at our backs for the run up to the playoffs!

Haha.

Must’ve been Freudian, windy as hell in Peachland today on the lake!

But good call, let’s put the sails up and ride the win wind.

Was good to finally get our spark plug the Chaser back in the lineup and get a win under our belts on this trip...

Nice little bonus after our game by Sportsnet showing another of our previous games. Couldn't help but watch.

That's one helluva safety meeting.

Put those notes in your COR package.

I was free and clear after the Canucks game ended and we watched the end of the Bucs beatdown of the Eaglets. A straggler shows up who said he would be there earlier, but wasn’t. So now we gotta drink with him. And he’s a great shit and the three of us lasted till 4:30. I am leaving again and run into my cousin and I got dragged back into the pub again. I have like 30 in town WTF?? So he is a major league drinker like the Chef. Shots, shots and more shots.

Good times. I looked on my banking app and saw three bills paid and another withdrawl of cash. 51 going on 19

I’ve already went home sick today. :)

Holy shit, you are a well-off and robust 51 year old, Doyle.

My liver would have exploded at half of the drinks consume.
