Dudes is retool.

Different adjustment strategies.
Mëds list is just the guys he would want to keep. There are others who I am indifferent on.
The totality of the lists appears to represent differing opinions and approaches.

Mëds....due to the shallow pool of remaining players seems more illustrative of a deconstruct and rebuild whereas Dudes appears more of an on the fly retooling.

Better?
Sure. But I'm not advocating for a deconstruct and rebuild.

The only key piece that I really think we should move on from is Pettersson. I just am not sold on him being "the guy".....and it could be that all the pressure our fanbase has put on him is just too much for the youngster, but there just seems to be something amiss there.

Oh shoot. I forgot Garland. The angry elf would be on my list of keepers.

Can't disagree with you on that.

I do think that Hoglander, Pod, Garland, and Boeser, are 5 wingers who could be outstanding top-6 producers if they were centered by consistent playmaking centers. Miller fits that list as well I suppose.

Doc has something for that. :drink:

It's still very disorienting, but you'll feel better. :drink:

I like the butterflies and rainbow zebras. :drink:

[Doc, I've still been assuming I'm supposed to drink the stuff. If I'm supposed to waterboard with it, I'll need a waterboard emoji, please.]

Post Game Tyler Myers 3;49 min.
"We have to keep pushing to get out of it. We can't just hope that things will go our way." - Tyler Myers
"It's not going to be easy getting out of (this losing streak)... We have to work together to fight our way out of it, nobody is going to do it for us." "We got to get back to playing with confidence and get back to playing like we were at the end of our last home stand, to get some momentum back our way." Tyler Myers
Post-Game, Tyler Motte 3;39 min.
"I felt good, no issues with the neck. I was able to play physical and play my game."
Tyler Motte

Post loss, coach for now, Travis Green 4;32 min.
Travis Green suggests that he can take some confidence from the idea that his top guns will start to score, that getting some of the club's RD back will help.
"I can understand that," Travis Green says regarding Canucks fans losing confidence.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

We have no team identity. Whose team is this? When we have Naslund and Bert and company we had an identity. The WCE and everything was built around that. When we had the Sedins it was their team and everything was built around that.

Right now a group of players, 2,3, 4, or whatever, need to take ownership and say this is our team, we are the core to build around. The new core has been anointed but they didn't earn it or take it but were given it. Bo has that potential. JT has that potential. But someone has to stand up and say this is their team and this is who we are.

So I smell a lack of true leadership. But I've never set foot in a dressing room. One of the reasons we justified so many veteran contracts was for that purpose, identity and leadership.

So maybe this is a natural step to three seasons in a row of massive turnover in players. Time. On paper we are definitely a better team. We know the turnover last season had a huge impact on a lot of players. The same it true this season.

Not many teams gel quickly to this turnover rate. Hell, some teams falter just for making a TDD deal or two. So maybe we should have expected this.
