Remember when Markstrom would close the door and then lose the shutout in the final couple minutes and didn't even earn a shutout until the end of his 3rd full year in Vancouver?

Now he has 4 in 9 starts with Calgary. That shines a pretty big spotlight on what coaching style and system can do to a goalies stats.

Not trying to take anything away from Marky, he's probably working his way into being a top-5 guy in the league.

Yes.

Per reminds us seemingly endlessly of the ongoing Markstrom escapades.

Yes, but I was flipping those escapades on it's head and pointing out the Canucks coaching capers.

Hughes knows better then to do the lazy crosscheck like that. Dumb penalty and it cost. Yep; Players are frustrated.

That’s on JB for selecting these players. Your third and fourth liners should be the PK guys.

Mëds.

I believe there are red neon flashing lights pointing at the Canucks coaching capers irrespective of your assistance.

You're shining a flashlight down the Vegas Strip.

If ya see the picture I'm painting.

Hoglander is impressive
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Are you kidding me?

That was a push, not a crosscheck.

It wasn't a "dumb penalty" twas a dumb ref...

No doubt. Of our Swedish forwards he's making the other guy look like a scrub.

You know they've been mandated to call all of those. Every player should know that.

Hog-n-Podz are stepping it up the last couple of games. Hope to see them keep progressing like this.

Was another good competitive period of hockey.

I'm really impressed with the way Hambone is playing, you would never guess he missed all of camp, the exhibition schedule and the first eight games.

And my gawd this Demko, where would we be without him.

No.

They're mandated to call crosschecks.

Not pushes.

Horrible call...
