Growth through adversity. Boys came a long way in getting back to the way they should be playing. Brock, Petey, Miller finally.
Hughes skated a ton. Rathbone had his best game as a Canuck. Burroughs was good. Demko solid. Great to see some real improvement.

Didn't see or hear the game but....
...reading this thread is entertainment enough.
The angst, the anger, the perturbation...the anxiety...the foreboding
...and it's what?
Game 5?
Y'all are out of your minds...and a joy to behold.
...and yeah Cuz...smokin' hot might be an oversell....compared to a skeleton for sure I agree.
I do believe all of them could light their eyelashes on fire blowing out candles on their birthday cake though.

Yeah I know. Jeff Paterson was raving on Don Taylor's show the other day. Sweaty, buggy eyes, arms waving around frantically.Strangelove wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 8:12 pmAnd to think some people were losing their shit the last two days...

In all my years Donny, I don't think I have ever seen the 'Nucklehead fever set in so early.donlever wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 8:14 pm Didn't see or hear the game but....

And today.
Are we allowed to call Micky crazy?

Paterson seemed to be saying the players really need to shoulder the blame, which I thought was odd coming from a guy with no shoulders.Megaterio Llamas wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 8:15 pmYeah I know. OK, exhale. The late PP triggered the Philly game PTSD, thankfully we held this time.
Good win, not dominating but they showed up. I'm slightly worried about Petey though, we know he's capable of way more than he showed. I'm praying that he will work through this to regain his form.

'Boner was skating like the wind tonight eh Mick. Burroughs landed some stiff uppercuts on the much taller Stillman which was jolly good fun as well. The much maligned Mathew Highmore was a whirling dervish out there. A veritable buzz saw of purposeful activity.

Did he refuse to opt out?

Rathbone's best game? How many games has he played? Mick needs to slow his roll. Kid was skating himself into all sorts of trouble and started all kinds of fires. Yeah, he has potential but he's far from a finished product.
Gomes going on like he did with Stecher.
Highmore was pretty good. I'd hate to have Green fall in love and gift him an undeserved role. Highmore on the 3rd line is not moving this team forward.
