Game three MacEwan in for Ferland/Rous/Eriksson depending on injuries.

Petey was a beast. He's got Datsyuk-ian blood. Kids going to bring us Cups in the future and be a HOF'er.

Marky a little shaky, not on his A-game is still better than most goalies. He'll steal Game 3 or 4. Hopefully we don't need a Game 5.

Horvat was better. Same with Pearson. Liked Sutter's game today too. D was solid, made right plays, kept it simple. Team wasn't pinned in their zone nearly as much.

Dunno why Marky didn't complain more on that last goal, there was contact in the crease...

MUCH better game!

Chasing pucks, defending pucks, some chippiness in their game. Stars doing their job and plumbers not fucking up. A lot of improvements, but stil more needed to keep going.

Too bad about those last two. Not indicative of the true meaning of this beautiful Canuck Shit kicking of the Mild.

Someone needs to submerge that fuckin' yappy diver Fiala.

Way too passive at the end there.

Poor close out. Giving up 2 in the dying minutes is sloppy.

Fiala pretty impressive. Attitude and a wicked shot.
Petey, too. Fucking goon. :D
Loved when he ran Suter and came away with the puck.
Petey was going around the edges on Stalock. Using Stalock’s aggression against him. Would have had a couple more points If Dumba hadn’t cleared pucks from behind him.
Loved seeing regular season Miller show up. His playoffs point accumulation isn’t great, good to see him get a couple points tonight. Pearson was much better, too. MacEwen in next game I guess. Hope Toffoli isn’t too badly hurt and can return.

Yeah they really need to clamp down on Fiala, like they do to Patty Kane, McDavid etc. as he has Marky's number.

We all bitch about Eriksson but his veteran experience really helped calm down his line to play some smart minutes.

Petey, Hughes, Boeser eventually would get their chances and score.

Virtanen played really well, wasn't a raging bull like I thought he'd be, but played a high IQ game, a lot of speed/hustle.

Glad Horvat Miller and Pearson scored, hopefully they can getr going!

Defense played a nice rugged game, even Stecher seemed a bit fired up.

Pettersson just keeps playing better and better - an underrated leader that pumps up the team imo when they see him going all out, doing everything in his power to try help the team WIN. He'll just start putting up points real quick.

Hopefully Ferland/Roussel are ok, not too banged up....but if so expect MacEwen to get in.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

"It’s exciting to score your first playoff goal and it’s an exciting win for our team. It’s great playing with Petey and Millsy and obviously we have some chemistry together. As top six forwards, we needed to contribute tonight and I think we did." - Boeser
......^^^^^^^^ and you should stay there, tell the coach 8-)
"The last game, it was a tough loss for our group. There's been so much talk about this upcoming playoff, for years in Vancouver. They were upset they lost even into the afternoon yesterday. Good we had a day off to regroup. The top 6 all played very well. They knew they'd have to be a factor if we were going to win. There's been a lot of talk about it the last few days and they all played well." - Green
---------
"I thought they moved the puck around well. Ice gets a little choppy near the end of the periods, that was a big power-play goal for our group." - Green on the PP
--------
"Our young guys were good that first game. We talked about things that had to improve for us to win. I thought everyone raised their game tonight. We evened it up tonight and it's getting funner as we go... Funner's probably not the right word but I'll use it. More fun, how's that?" - Green
-------
"Both Toffoli and Gaudette were considered “unfit to play” tonight." -Green

See what happens when you play Jake and Loui instead of playing favorites?!
Seriously, Loui is at least the 12th best forward.

(Worst contract, for sure).

(Worst twigs, as well)
Yeah, Loui's value is terrible. If we could dump him for a bucket of pucks, I say do it.

But we're talking best chance to win in the playoffs. The guy's pedigree, experience and smarts alone should get him in... even on the 4th line, he's is more effective.
This.

Terrible contract. Not value for money. But he used to be a 60 point guy.
He has loads of experience, and that matters in a playoff.

There is a reason he is always on the ice when the opponents pull their goalie.
Whatever you do, always give 100 %!
