Thomas Drance:
Looks like Brock Boeser will return vs. the Islanders, based on Tuesday’s line rushes at morning skate:
Pearson-Horvat-Boeser
Miller-Pettersson-Toffoli
Roussel-Gaudette-MacEwen
Eriksson-Sutter-Virtanen
Hughes-Tanev
Edler-Stecher
Fantenberg-Myers
Do the rest mickster if you would

Silence intelligence so stupid isn’t offended….
Re: NYI @ Canucks 7pm SNP
A couple of decent looking lines, then a good energy line that can score, then Virtanen gets stuck with the slugs.
There's hope.

Jake is going to have to create his own fortunes
If he quit hitting posts.... that alone would do it

Re: NYI @ Canucks 7pm SNP
His points are going up each year, and he should easily hit 20g this year - a bit of luck, he could already be at 25.
But yes, he's on his own tonight... :/

ISLANDERS, projected;
Anders Lee — Mathew Barzal — Jordan Eberle
Anthony Beauvillier — Brock Nelson — Josh Bailey
Andrew Ladd — Jean-Gabriel Pageau — Michael Dal Colle
Matt Martin — Derick Brassard — Leo Komarov
Nick Leddy — Ryan Pulock
Devon Toews — Scott Mayfield
Andy Greene — Noah Dobson
Semyon Varlamov — Thomas Greiss

Glad to see Brock back. That should help in the offense department and maybe a bit of a moral boost too. Not that we should need one.
To say important game would be understating. At least we're still saying it.
Remember how the last shift vs the Islanders ended? https://streamable.com/q8lhu#
Even though Jake is listed on the fourth line, he could still be a big factor. I think He'll get PP2 time as well.

He sniffs a lot. Don't wory; he always does after a workout.
I bet he gets plenty of ice time...

I wouldn't be surprised to see Virtanen up with Bo for a few shifts as Brock gets his legs back..

Re: NYI @ Canucks 7pm SNP
They should let Jake play on the left side and drop Roussel down to the fourth line.
Then rotate the top three lines and only use the fourth line to kill penalties.
Glad Brock is back.
Don't get SHUTOUT again!

I was thinking the same thing, Jake played the left side with great success in junior.

Re: NYI @ Canucks 7pm SNP
Brock has chemistry with Pettersson, as does Miller
Toffoli has chemistry with Pearson.
Why does Green try to fuck with shit? Just play the obvious fuckin lines you bulging throated toad

Re: NYI @ Canucks 7pm SNP
I see it too but I also see it from Green’s POV as well. It’s much easier defensively to play on your natural side. But yeah he used to cut to the net with his speed and it it was awesome to watch.rats19 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 2:04 pmWhy is it we see these things and NHL coaches can’tStrangelove wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 12:53 pmTHISCherry Picker wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 12:35 pm They should let Jake play on the left side and drop Roussel down to the fourth line.

They have to win. I’m going to get polluted either way, so at least I’ll be happy.

Re: NYI @ Canucks 7pm SNP
Might need a different coach to get the best out of Jake. Green and Jake have a long history, Green doesn’t give Jake any slack and magnifies anything negative. I hope Jake gets another coach before he gets traded.rats19 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 2:04 pmWhy is it we see these things and NHL coaches can’tStrangelove wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 12:53 pmTHISCherry Picker wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 12:35 pm They should let Jake play on the left side and drop Roussel down to the fourth line.
