I hit FF through the dog and pony show. Did he cry? Did he bite anyone or yank on their hair?

The goal was huge. Probably saved AV’s job and prevented a massive gutting. Funny thing was he was offered in 2009 along with Bieksa and our 1st for Viktor Hedman. The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 9:16 amHe was heart and soul in his prime blobert. I’d have liked Burrows better if he didn’t do some of the stupid things he pulled over the years. Kesler too.

Not Blob, no. Only Canuck fans love Alex Burrows. The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 9:16 amHe was heart and soul in his prime blobert. almost like an emerging homegrown talent to replace hired gun placeholders.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

I think some are starting to finally grasp the concept of “placeholders”, Tops.Topper wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 9:46 amalmost like an emerging homegrown talent to replace hired gun placeholders.

I think some others may have finally gotten it through their thick skulls that it’s a good idea to draft and develop your own bottom of the roster players.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 11:45 amI think some are starting to finally grasp the concept of “placeholders”, Tops.Topper wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 9:46 amalmost like an emerging homegrown talent to replace hired gun placeholders.

Some nights everything goes in. None of those first period goals were really Nilsson's fault -- he might have played the Gaudette-Roussel two on one better, but even playing it better it is a high quality scoring chance. Demko made huge saves in this game, and he gave the Canuck skaters the ability to win without having to be mentally sharp and fundamentally precise. To that end, it was an easy win.
I'll give the Sens credit for pushing the whole game like they were down 1 instead of down 3 or 4 (as they were for most of it). They fall into the category of "not good, but not as bad as you think." LA is jealous.
