We were lucky to get the point tonite. No answer for McKinnon. Nice to see Juice on the panel and great to hear him and Burkie giving our team props. Juice said he liked the acquisition of Benn to really solidify our bottom pairing and Burkie said when we're healthy, he likes seeing a big heavy team built for the playoffs. Although, I still think Juice would be great addition to our coaching staff, but he's colourful, so he's great on TV.

It was interesting hearing them talk about McKinnon and how he knew he always had explosive speed, but he knew he needed to work on his lateral movement. After he worked on that area, it elevated his game a couple notches. Man, I couldn't help but to think of Jake. If Jake can add that element to his skating, it might give him an edge and help him take his game to another lvl. Maybe he can find a way to try to work out with Sid and McKinnon in the off season. :P

Tuff to see us lose a bunch of winnable games. The road trip is going to be a tuff one. It's probably going to show us what our team is really made of. I think if we can go .500 on the road trip and stay in the hunt, it'll be a success. If we keep going like this, the season may be over. Fingers crossed.

Nice to see the Hockey Gaud with another great game. Man, if he can continue trending this way and maybe challenge BoHo for that #2 C spot, it's going to bode well for us this season and our future.

That's no young Carl Yagro. Those aren't even the same person.

Where'd you pull that pic from, Mick? Your personal stash?
Try to focus on THIS year...

Yup! and his energy too. He's emerging as a player quickly now. The better positional play is coming largely due to ice time.

Love them jerseys!
Yeah, our guys looked great in the black retro sk8 jerseys. Interesting to hear that Juice and his teams lobbied to wear em too, but it never happened.

The Raging Bo is struggling bigly time. He's killing the PP.

Can't blame his wingers. Right now, he's making everybody worse.
Maybe BoHo is not as good as we think/hope. He's still a good player, but he's not Jonathan Toews lvl and we have seen his peak as a 25G, 60PTs guy. He's a great faceoff man, but is not skilled enuff to carry a 2nd line over the course of an 80 game schedule, so he's going to have his dry spells. Maybe in time, the Hockey Gaud will be the better guy to man the #2 C spot and Bo would be better off on the #3 spot (Sutter's spot), a shut down guy who can provide occasional offense.

Post-game comments; Travis Green / Adam Gaudette / Thatcher Demko;
https://www.nhl.com/canucks/video/postg ... /c-4613853

Demko had that "beat me on the low stick side" thing going all night. Right into overtime :(
Were the trio of Hughes, Pettersson and Boeser too tuckered out for 3 on 3 :?:
Guess so. Tanev, Horvat and Miller blew the F**k out of that. Where was Bo going? Must have yelled for a pass that didn't come.
I like Chris but not generally in a 3 on 3 situation. I don't see eye to eye with you here Trav. :hmmm:
Is it worth wearing different jerseys 7 or 8 times this year at home if there's "any" possibility it's a hinderance?
Ya, I know; The money from the jersey sales to the public. W/E.

Wids; your absolutely right! That hit in the head with a puck incident should be blown dead immediately every time it happens.
There's no way of knowing how bad they are....
