I don't think Demko has been bad.

With everyone healthy, the D is awful. But tonight, it's 2 second-pairing guys and 4 AHLers.

Ya bro. The canucks have by far the shittiest defense in the league. Everybody gets a boner to play against pooalot and the funky bunch

Exactly. All of those kids are still trying their very best to win (i.e. not "tanking"), but at the organizational level, player development is given a higher priority than winning.

Trade Pettersson’s mentor - Edler, a respected veteran in the room, proud to wear the Canuck logo, loves this city and plans to live out the rest of his days here, trade him for a draft pick that may or may not pan out

Blob, your thoughts?

None, bro.

- Virtanen, has become a solid regular
- Boeser gets 9 games, becomes a regular the following season
- Pettersson, SHL regular & playoff scoring champ, becomes a regular this season
- Demko, has become the regular backup this season
- Gaudette, Hobey Baker winner, gets 5 games, has become a regular this season
- Hughes, will get ? games, will become a regular next season
- Who's coming next?

8-)

Demko just stopped a 2-0 breakaway on Ze German.

I wasn’t trying to run him out of town.

YOU said Edler had a horrible contract. Ona team that had Sutter, Eriksson and Gudbranson. Edler has the bad contract.

I have no issues with keeping Edler. It’s you, Botchford, Halford, Brough, Patterson and Price whom are all angry at Benning for Edler excercising his Gillis NTC rights

When in doubt make shit up.

The archives can prove you bitched nonstop about Edler’s contract.

Thats best case ontario right there. Canucks kicked ass that period but still keep up with the basement draft derby
