We've out-chanced them and out-shot them (30-14).

Two posts and a sure goal saved by Mayfield on the goal-line.
Come on Strange, this team is one of the worst in the league at generating shots for and one of the most giving with shots against. Yes it’s the reverse tonight
Well we were clearly talking about tonight.

This conversation started with me blasting tonight's refereeing.

Blob said tonight's problem was that and... "a lack of talent".

It would a scene man if the Canucks win the lotto. They will be drafting a centre smaller than their last 2 first round picks. Blob will be institutionalized. Going from the Sedins to Pettersson, Hughes, Hughes and Olaf.

Oh yay. I thought they weren't qualifying...

Ive seen enough of that d except for hutton and stetcher. The rest are fucking brutal.

We really should try and cash in gudbranson now. Hes not nhl calibre in todays nhl. The saunter-poop-biega debacle is an embarrassment

And too many #6 dmen.

I wonder if Guddy can hit the 50% mark by the end of the year? That’s being on the ice for 50% of the team’s goals against. Hard to do when you average 18 mins a game but he’s getting close.

My mind is wandering during this game. Just thinking Karlsson repeated groin injuries has to be working for anyone thinking of signing him for 10+ million for a max term contract.

If Tanev and Edler were more durable we wouldn’t be going through this, we can’t bank on those two pulling out an 82 game season.

Did you guys know that Gillis could have drafted Brock Nelson had he not traded for Ballard? Have I told you guys that?

That giant if is all you need to know. I would rather keep edler over tanev myself and see whats out there for a return on CT. I would guess its less than we would all like as his mr glass schtick isnt a big secret

Is there anybody left on this board who would not be OK with the Canucks being sellers at the deadline?

Does anyone think Benning will actually manage to move any current Canucks players for good value in picks and prospects?
