I wasn’t meaning to single you out, Hank.
Everyone (sans Gaudette, Roussel and Marky) is playing pretty underwhelming hockey right now. If Greener is going to give out tough love it should be the majority of the team.
The “knives” comment was in referrence to “trade” Boeser.

Two posts and a sure goal saved by Mayfield on the goal-line.

No worries, DC4PM. I know you weren't.
I don't think anyone is calling for a trade of Brock, but I don't like how he's been playing lately. Like HW said, he's been a little bit fat, lazy and content (a bit like the old JV). Certainly wouldn't hurt if Green had a talk with him.

There is certainly room on a team for a one dimensional goal scorer if all the other pieces are in place. But yes, he needs some tough love from Green. He gets a pass on a lot of lazy play.
No, Boeser is not the problem with team. But Boeser is soft and lazy. I’ll still cheer for him but if Benning wants to make a hockey trade......just saying, if the return is right.

That should answer any questions about what Benning should be doing regarding trades.

Finally Roussel with the Alien. I’ve seen enough of Spooner. I’m sure Utica could use him.

Touché, Rats.
Hank, I wouldn’t mind tough love for Brock (I agree he’s been a bit lazy and definsively lax) so long as some other players get that tough love too. I just don’t want to see Boeser as the goat for the team’s failure.
I expect the “trade” comment by CY was a bit tongue in cheek but so was the “knives” comment.

Well
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Come on Strange, this team is one of the worst in the league at generating shots for and one of the most giving with shots against. Yes it’s the reverse tonight but in general we lose much more than we win on the shot clock. Lots of games we’ve won when we got out-chanced badly, way more than those like tonight.Strangelove wrote: ↑Sat Feb 23, 2019 8:38 pmWe've out-chanced them and out-shot them (30-14).

Yep, it’s frustrating as hell when it happens though.
