That background behind Shorty and Garrett makes it look like they're broadcasting from the restroom.

You’re conversing with a guy who thinks Erik Gudbranson is the second coming of Scott Stevens.DonCherry4PM wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 10:07 pmIt was far from single-handed. What makes you think that a lazy player like Goldobin would be able to do? Give you a freaking second assist? He is no Bure nor Mogilny. Just wake up and smell the coffee.DonCherry4PM wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 9:56 pmYeah, the loss has nothing to do with the fact we can't score more than them. It is only that we let them score more....Jovocop wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 9:54 pmThe last time I checked, Goldobin cannot play defense. If the Canucks lose tonight, it has to with the defense, not offense. Goldobin will never be able to help in the department.DonCherry4PM wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 9:37 pm Yeah, we play so much better without Goldobin, we should probably trade him...
Depends on which side of the coin you look at.
I think Goldobin would be able to put up points. He is still 4th in that department notwithstanding the number of games he has been sitting in the press box.
If you think all of those points are all secondary assists, perhaps some smelling salts are in order?
He watches a different game... at the very least he watches it through a different lens

At least I am stupid enough to think Goldobin is the second coming of Bure or Mogilny or thinking that every player should be playing for 800k.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 10:17 pmYou’re conversing with a guy who thinks Erik Gudbranson is the second coming of Scott Stevens.DonCherry4PM wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 10:07 pmIt was far from single-handed. Well that is your prerogative if you do think that. I, however, don't think any of those things.

Greener luvs watching Poo fly all over the place and stinking up the joint.
Man, I miss the Porn Scag. Heck, I'd take our previous #5, the Pizza-Man over our current one. I bet the Bull-Dawg is hungry to get some games, just play him or one of our other RS D on the left side for a few games.
It's going to be a long break, going to get my Knucklehead withdrawals again. Our guys could probably use the R&R though, come back and battle hard into the playoff stretch.

Have to think a coupe of changes in 10 days?
I guess this break is official time off. I didn't know that. Didn't use to be.
Shit; I'd have these guys on the ice at least 2 times, closed to the press, just getting the game back in order.
Things have been leading up to this score-board disaster for a few games, you could see it but until to-nite, they've been lucking out.

Well that was ugly, exposed many warts. Carolina plays the new NHL game as good as any, that’s a good team or a good team in the making, play that same Tampa Bay Lightning tempo, fast and they keep pouring it on
Petey is not quite as sharp, missing as many games as he has will do that, but with that, still amazes
Still concerned with Horvat, he’s good for spurts but if this guy wants to be considered elite, he needs to figure out how to keep his motor going consistently
Boeser is skating much better
Virtanen, I think we’ve are all gotten to know his max ceiling. The new Jim Sandlak, high draft pick power forward always leaving you wanting more out of him but never getting it, just once in awhiles when the stars align for him, he’s definitely not the master of his own destiny
Can’t get Hughes skating and ice vision here soon enough
Pouliot - the good and the bad in one. Greener has a soft spot for his former Winterhawk pupil
It’s time to see what we have in McEwan. Tired of listening to everyone rave about him
The top 6 needs another fast, skilled player
Wingers and Defence - 2019 draft
If this team goes into next season without Edler and Tanev it will be an unmitigating disaster. See Edmonton Oilers
The forwards terrible back checking and D-zone support for their defenders is fucking awful, getting heavily exposed
I’m done with a Sutter, too slow, soft and vanilla for the new NHL. He’s inflicted with the Garrison casualness, fuck off, bring up the firey Gaudette or McEwan
Granlund - see Sutter
Canuck Management - if last nights test and the game Carolina plays wasn’t an eye opener and barometer for you for where we are and where we got to get to, then I don’t know what is
The rebuild isn’t over Francesco Aqualini - Don’t be a meddling silver spooned twat - you weekend warrior hockey fan

Bo needs a good running mate. It still may be Virtanen but I’m less sure of that than I was six weeks ago. I have long thought Jaden Schwartz would be a good linemate for Bo but he has been battered with injuries the past few years. Not sure if he still has the goods.

If Bo wants to be considered a legitimate 2nd line centre he needs to work on his tempo that sustains him for an entire shift. IMO his patented bull rushes where he tries to beat d-men out wide to get a shot in net completely gas him and isn’t working anymore. He needs to figure his shit out, use his line mates more, work smarter not harder.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Thu Jan 24, 2019 6:40 am Bo needs a good running mate. It’s never a good sign when we start blaming line mates or lack thereof instead of the player himself. With Pettersson you could stick a fire hydrant on his line it don’t matter, he still produces
