A few things are apparent. Bo is not 100% and will benefit from Sutter being back.
Team is still light at centre, Granlund notwithstanding, and Sutter will be a welcome return.
We are light on top six talent. Leivo isn’t a long term answer top six and is now injured in any event. Virtanen is getting bounced because he has developed some versatility to his game. This is a good thing. But we are short top six scoring, until some Utica kids prove their worth. Goldobin’s talent is still needed, right now. Hope Green’s new tough love project answers the bell.
Edler is playing consistently good hockey right now. A contract year? Healthy? New energy from the new energy? Out from under the Swedish twin shadows? Whatever it is he’s playing good. I know one of the differences of opinion between Linden and Benning was Edler. Linden wanted to get him a new 2-3 year deal. Benning wanted to wait until the TDD to make a decision.
Tanev is playing good.

I don't know why Virtanen keeps moving all over the lineup. Just stick him with Bo permanently.
Maybe after Sutter gets back.
In the meantime No has been double shifting, penalty killing and jumping on and off the ice taking faceoffs. He's got the flu and is dead tired. RD is pulling it big time. Bo is still ur #1 to way center.
