Difference between the last two games and the loosing streak,
1) bounces going Vancouver's way
- come on, two of Brock's hat trick goals and all three goals last night,
- does Korpisalo get the primary ass ist son the GWG?
2) Beagle and Edler back, Levon's addition
- Beagle lets Bo get back to only having his shift to play, not starting shifts for two other centres.
- Edlers steadies the D
- Levon>gagne>lipstick
How will the Canucks replace the Sedins in 2018-19? Elias and Virtanan.
- Through the 1st 33 games last year, Twins combined 8G, 35A 43pts
- Through the 1st 33 games last year, Elias and Jake combined 26G, 21A 47pts (note Elias has only 27 games, Jake is up 6G 2A from where he was after 33Gms last year...so you could say Elias and Jake 22G 18A 40pts)
- Goldobin has been better than Vanek
Vancouver has scored 17G more than they had after 33 games last year, they have also allowed 12 more goals than last year. Net is +5 on last year.

The rebuild is going to fast. Need two more years of tanking, look at the Oilers and Coyotes!

No, there's no fasting during advent. On the contrary. Lot's of feasting all the way through xmas and new year until epiphany.
You're thinking of lent. Or ramadan.
Or did you mean it's going too fast?

Team chemistry, starting as of this last week, is about the best I've seen in a long time. Real long.

I love Leivo on the Eli line... so far.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 10:34 pmYa I was surprised by him getting called out. We know Green felt he wasn’t in top NHL conditioning and need playing time to get up to speed but other than that I thought he’s looked pretty good.Strangelove wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 7:52 pmA few people called out Leivo in this thread as well...
Now with .75 points per game as a Nuck averaging just 14:40 minutes per game.

Last night wasnt the canucks finest hour thats for damn sure. They were hemmed in their end the whole night. Jewing out a win after the home team tires out from winning every puck battle for 57 minutes is a helluva way to sneak out with 2 points though lol
My highlight is Hutton obliterating Anderson on that net drive.

Definitely off the Preds dman...Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 10:33 pm If we take away that goal and give it to Jake then we gotta take an assist off of Pettersson.i agree though, it does kinda look like it deflected off his skate, or maybe it was the Preds Dman!?!?!?

In the post-game, Jake sure sounds like he knew it was his goal and not Leivo's.
Off the Pred's dman it is.

Watching the highlight clips you sure see how lucky we were with than win. Markstrom was huge for us and should have been the first star, I don’t know who the game stars were. We easily could have been down by five entering the third.
But after losing 12 straight in some games we could have/should have won I’ll take it. A late comeback win is learning how to win.

Yesss. Started with one off the Beagles skate and ended with one off the BJ goalies arse.
