Trade Pettersson for a legit top 4 D-man just before Hughes, Juolevi, Woo, Tryamkin arrive

The Canucks do not need two midgets. Once everyone is healthy, they should waive Leispic.

Man, great game by Shotgun Jake. He pretty much did it all except score a goal and fight. Phaneuf was trying to hit him and he does the reverse body check on Phaneuf. Phaneuf is a fierce open ice hitter and Jake just stood him up. I've seen Jake do that to Kornwall and now he's taking it one step further by doing it on a big/tuffer dood. Jake with a beaut pass to setup the Hockey Gaud's first career goal. Fakes the spin around shot and feeds it to a open streaking Gaudette. Jake acting like the cagey veteran too by grabbing the puck for Gaudette's keepsake collection. Can't believe those 2 guys are the same age. Right now, Jake is miles ahead of Gaudette that's for sure. The Shotgun is really coming to his own, probably our best winger by far this season with Brockstar out. Jake was also doing some great work digging the puck out for Granlund to Eriksson for a great chance. Granny and Shotgun seemed to be creating some good chemistry. It was great to see Greener reward Jake as well and he was double shifting and taking Boucher's spot with Petey.

Speaking of Boucher, definitely disappointing. He seemed nervous and make a couple of bad passes and didn't really see the hustle/determination of a guy who's busting his ass to stick.

Nice to see Samwise score a goal too with everything he has been through. Hopefully, he keeps playing well, so that maybe he can have some value if we want to move him on TDD.

Ya, Jake was the man!! Gonna be seeing an A on his jersey one day soon.
Saw and heard his post game and he and Phaneuf had the hit challenge ON during the skate-around.

Earlier this year, Elias said what the flex in his stick was. 60? was it? Holy shit! Take a look at the slow-mo. Rubber-whip. zing.

Does this officially mean "Big and Heavy" is passe? Must be cause the Kings just are not hitting their mark.
