I'm expecting a close 3-2 win
Sometimes I like being wrong.
Caught the 2nd half of the game and although sloppy at time, they were working and didn't look out of place when the pace picked up in the 3rd. Lots of small positives tonight.

What a shot! Out of curiosity, how have Hirscher and Patrick done in their second season?
Nothing like this
Just remember being pissed that we dripped to 5th o that draft, what a steal it has turned out to be.
Both Benning and Linden said if they had picked 1/2 they wouldn’t have taken either player selected 1/2. Most thought they were just selling their pick. Also, apparently, quit a few GMs had Pettersson ranked 1/2 but his size deleted them.
Rumour has it Vancouver really liked Cale Makar in that draft

Ya. Hard to know but I remember that one too. I remember thinking I was glad we weren’t picking 1-2 because Benning would have been roasted more than usual whoever he picked.
It was the best game of the season.
And
They
Did
It
Like
A
team.
That's the best part. Jake can really take on a full role if he continues like this.
Where did this Ben come from? Oh ya, His first year. Lets just call this his second and carry on!
Granny loves showing up his bro. Maybe we should acquire him? Na, just show ours videos.
Bo, acting like a "captain". deje vu
Pettersson is a phenom. Everybody says so. Even people on TV, Cool. The guy is f---ing amazing.
Brock will be Brock very soon now. Making big headway now...

I was hoping for some comments on Elias, but ... whatever...
He looked good. His timing and shot were a little off. To be expected after missing six games. But he looked better as the game wore on.
He had a couple of early chances that you just knew he would have buried before the injury. He didn’t look timid or afraid of contact which is a good thing. I don’t think he was credited with a shot on net.
I don’t think it will take him long to get up to speed.
I'd say your assessment was pretty accurate!
Whatever you do, always give 100 %!
Except when donating blood.
Pettersons one timer was a absolute thing of beauty!
Can't remember the last time (if) i saw someone get it off that fast.
And another puck knocked down/blocked for his breakaway.
Kid has sick eye/hand coordination the way he knocks all those pucks down mid air.
Genius pick by the Megamind Jimbro Benning. When Jimbro was asked “what if Makar was available” Jimbro responded “the decision would’ve been tough” that tells me Pettersson was who they were taking no matter what
Shinkaruk who? Gillis draft pick. Helluva game by Granlund. He’s actually looked good for awhile, seems to be getting some mojo. Genius Jimbro trade. Shinkaruk who?
Brock slowly getting better
Team fragile continues - Sutter
Virtanen cooled my jets last night. Gets another day on Chef Island
MS the best GM outside the NHL (HF)wanted Vilardi at 6th
Hutton went to work in the off season
Rock n roll
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Before his injury I was comparing him to Gradins rookie season.
Now, I really think the only true comparison was another great center
Size and skill seet about the same. Wayne Gretzky !

If EP can stay away from injury and gain ten more pounds he may lead us to the promised land. I dread to see Duncan Keith paying attention to him on Wed.
