Wish we had Petey, could have made the game 2-1 canucks and changed the momentum before the jets.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

We get out of this road trip .500?

I’ll take that.

But I wonder what they will have for Boston after a couple days rest.

I hope not. I hope they let him rest up a bit longer. One paw from Chara or one garbage hit from Marchand and the kid might get really discouraged. Give Gaudette some rope at home. I like his compete level if his footpseed isn’t there.

I'd play Nilsson another 55 games this season. 8-)

Yeah I was thinking the same thing too.

Especially when you know Marchand is going to do some dirty shit for sure

Eriksson looked worse than last season. A combination of slow & disinterested.

His current level of play can not be a good influence on the kids.

In this game, the Canucks would have been better off with Leipsic, & possibly, someone on the Comets.
Less Canucks embarrassment please.

Hey I thought Eriksson and Goldobin were studs???
Oh... maybe that was all Pettersson.
If he can make them look decent, then put him between Jake and Roussel.
He’ll make them look decent and get some much needed protection.

Neither Eriksson or Goldobin have any physical presence.

Goldobin has speed, shows flashes of offensive talent, & is developing defensive awareness.
Eriksson is slow, tries to provide offense (but is too slow to be effective), & has defensive ability (but is too slow to be effective).
Goldobin is getting better. Eriksson is getting worse.

Note to Green:

When Pettersson gets healthy, send Eriksson down, keep Gaudet up, watch Aquilini fume ... & watch how nervous Benning gets.
Less Canucks embarrassment please.

GOLDY getting some props from Coach Greener.
Green: “I like Goldy's game, I thought he was one of our better players tonight.

He's being harder on the puck, he's winning more puck battles.

He's a good example for other guys.

Season high 16 plus minutes for Goldy.

Seems like the team just ran out of gas and had an emotional let down at about the 10 minute mark.
That and the Jets were adamant about having a good outing and sticking to it till the end whistle.

Yup,have to agree. I keep hearing the "experts" going on about being good defensively, good stick, mentor for the young uns.
But i just dont see it. Constantly gets outmuscled to the puck , fails to convert, not alot of energy.

Three or four games ago, the camera was on the Pettersson / Eriksson line on ice, during a stoppage. They appeared to be drawing up a play.
Elias was doing the talking. Loui seemed to be going; ya, ya, ok, ok, got it, got it.
