On draft day I was promoting Necas for the Canucks pick over Vilardi.

They went with some unknown Pettersson guy instead. Shocking!

I will be interested to see how Necas is doing and the other ROTY contender Svechnikov. Should be a fun game. Perhaps lots of goals with less than ideal goalies at either end. We will see if the Canucks habit of making mediocre goalies look like all-stars continues this season.

I don't think it's anything personal against Motte. Green simply needs to see everyone play and this road trip is the perfect time. When Roussel comes back, someone else needs to sit, deserved or not. I'm thinking Leipsic will be the victim.

MDZ absolutely should be scratched though. He's sucked ballz. I wouldn't get too excited about Bhutt though. He could easily sit again in favour of the DJ. This guy definitely has a short leash with the coach.

I'm just looking forward to the season when Juolevi gets called up and makes both of these guys expendable.
