Figured that someone should take the bullet of starting this, the first of 82 debacles.
Vancouver and Calgary will open up the season at Rogers Arena tonight in front of a house full of hopeful Brock Boeser and Elias Pettersson fans and a few old school Horvat supporters.
Markstrom to start.
The blueline is ready.
The forwards are primed.
It's likely to be a rout.
6-1 Flames. Eriksson with an empty netter.
