This player ran and hid when the going got tough.
Are you sure you are not talking about Dustin Brown?

Got up at 6 am, as per usual. Need to get ready to go to work.
When the games are this late I get a chance to get in on the action a bit, which is appreciated.

Albeit no goals were scored in the third period, so not that much action... :|

Decent game, more entertaining, just one wee complaint.
That hit on Brock was NOT answered.
He got his own revenge with a beautiful point shot for a goal but um, gotta answer certain bells when one of your own gets rung.

Yeah, he is quite promising. Actually picked him up for my yahoo fantasy team.

I'm pretty pleased with it; we're 16 teams, so you can't expect an allstar line-up, this is what I have:

Forwards
Anze Kopitar LA - C
Bo Horvat Van - C
Nazem Kadri Tor - C
Henrik Zetterberg Det - C,W
Adrian Kempe LA - C,W
Yanni Gourde TB - C,W
Vladimir Tarasenko StL - W
Brock Boeser Van - W
Jakob Silfverberg Anh - W
IR (Adam Lowry Wpg - C) When he gets back, I'll toss Kadri

You can start 2 centres and four wingers every night, so I like to have some C/W players for added flexibility. Hate to have to bench a winger when there is a centre slot available, or vice versa. Also, we have "won faceoffs" as a category, so having as many players as possible on the team taking faceoffs helps.

Defence
Erik Karlsson Ott - D
Roman Josi Nsh - D
Mike Green Det - D
Colin Miller VGK - D
Joel Edmundson StL - D

This I'm really proud of. OK, Karlsson was injured all summer and has been a slow starter this season, but still.
Would have loved to have the Big Fugly One on the team, as he is listed as D/W, so even greater versatility, but he went too early in the draft for me to get a shot at him.

Goaltenders
Pekka Rinne Nsh - G
Jacob Markstrom Van - G
IR (Corey Crawford Chi - G) I actually want to carry three goalies, because we have 15 categories to "score" in, and five of those are goalie categories (wins, GAA, saves, svs% and SO), so goaltending is important. I didn't find a good substitute when he got injured, though, so added a forward instead. Once he gets back I'll have to shed one of the forwards, probably Gourde or Silfverberg.

Took Crawford and Rinne early in the draft. Then halfway through, noticed that Marky Mark was available and added him as my third stringer. Not as reliable as the other two, but he gets a lot of starts and is not a complete waste of roster space. Gave me a win tonight, for example! 8-)

Wouldn't mind if this was a keeper league, with all th eyouth on the team, but we make a new draft every year and start from scratch.
This is my first year (fifteen in total in this league) that I'm not having a Sedin on the team. :(

A good day for Canuck fans ,
Horvat and Boesser looked great tonight
Lui and Vanek both earning their paycheck
Del Sotto sucked as usual
Tanev and Edler both had good games
And Jake had the chance to play in the last minutes of a game :)
