The problem is that the Sedins are not good at defending at this stage of their careers because of the lack of footspeed.
Man, when I saw the Sedins come out in OT, I thought: God no plz, anyone but the Sedins.

I think we might actually have some good players for the shootouts, if we can survive the 3-3 OT (ie: Brockstar, Vanek, Samwise, etc). The problem in the 3-3 is we're too slow and with all that open ice, the odds are we'll lose.

I agree. Virts was flying tonight and the Sedin's were 'gassed' at the end of the game. Green could have done a few things differently in overtime. His reluctance to play Virts in over-time is a little odd. Oh well, still not a bad game by the Nucks. Markstrom was hung out to dry quite a number of times but made some great saves!

Have xmas guests coming up from the lower mainland. Made my way over to silver sage today and acquired sometasty merlot. Did some more reno work after supper and wAtched the pvr'ed nucks game with some wine n' puffs.

Enjoyed the effort they made. Hell, you know, Dowd didnt lookout of place tonight!? (Whats up with that?). Anyways, it'll be sublime in the future when Boeser and Virts have some really good line-mates to play with, and we're contenders again in about 2 years +.

Don't worry. Those shaky calls putting us in a 5 on 3 PK got noticed.
Well I think Brock has scored in every way now. Maybe he can deflect a puck off his helmet on purpose into the net.

The whole game was worth it just to see Jake score that goal. Outrageous speed, power and he very much directed the puck between the goalie's legs on purpose.
You know what that makes him? More valuable than E. Kane. Why? Because he didn't crash after he did it.
When is twinsition going to kick in for overtime?

Man, our team defensively has been piss poor of late. We have all these offensive minded guys back there now like Pouliot, Stecher, Hutton, Del Zotto and all of them are struggling in our zone the past few games. I know we have Tanev, Sutter, and BoHo out and all, but it seems like we have been letting 5+ goals every game lately. You're not going to get very many wins when u consistently give up so many goals.

When Markstrom is in his "set" position, his glove hand is beaten very easily.
When he is not set and has to move for it, he has as good as glove hand as anyone.
Nilsson is showing the same thing.
Makes no sense but it's remarkably noticeable.
Hey Dan! What's up with this?
If you need help, I heard Gregg Zaun is available. He was a catcher.
That was in poor taste Mick, sorry

and white meat on the bird

Don't know what you folks are talking about in OT, Sedins had a chance to control and let Edler change, instead they attacked and lost possecion. Never got is back. Damn neared killed Eddy. that is a lot of ice to cover.

Jake has a ways to go to see the game before he gets some OT time.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.
