You were right Doc, the ice is way better.
Shit, we were out skated.
Better just get the Preds over with, get home and repose. There was just too much wrong tonight to breakdown.
If I were Green and could start with just one thing, I'd tell Brock to keep his head up and even retaliate some.
Take a roughing penalty, who cares. Rest of the team could pitch in a little on this too.
Not as though it wasn't predictable...

A few comments;
Not surprised by the last two, been in NYC since Wednesday time to stop trying to be Broadway Joe and get back to being Dueck on Broadway.

Defense gave up far too much space to the Islander forwards entering the zone meaning they were defending with their backs to the blue line.

I see I was asked to comment on the lil'trojan, awful, plain and simply awful. If he is going to have a modicum of success defensively he has to win battles with position and speed. He's a pylon out there with forwards beating him to the outside like a hoop around a barrel. Where is the offense he is expected to contribute? Does his shot ever hit the net anymore? Yet another D partner being held back baby sitting.

Biega is a far better option on D than the lil' trojan.

Tighten up that D, bury some chances and that would have been a game.

The career long question remains, who do you play with the twins? Jake is looking much better, as are the rest of the line, with Granlund and Gaunce. Loui looks better with Vanek...and so does Vanek. Put Sutter with them when he's healthy. The Horvat line is fine.

A healthy Dorsett with the twins may be the Burr in their bonnet?

If Goldy can play both ends of the ice, Gaunce with the twins, Goldy with Jake and Granlund?

Right cuz Captain Henrik needs to show more leadership.

But hey it's cute the way you sit on Blobby's lap and lick his face.

Lol, you are such an ass.

Time to get a life, you are irrelavent on this site.

Your posts are not informative, you think you are special and most people probably don’t read what you say. I know I don’t as I prefer to read when posters actually add something to the thread. I assume you will respond to my comment here with another long post with links and such, this is your MO. Top will come on tell me Fuck Off.

This is all ok with, if I can give some a reason to come in every day then I am doing something good for society.

Maybe we should rename this site to DocsCorner?

I said this last game and it applied last night. Boeser is playing tired. He needs a few days off, get some rest, maybe hit the gym. He was yawning on the bench last night.

Doc, I read an article this morning about our old bud Roberto having a resurgence lately and maybe not looking like he will retire on that recapture nightmare and that coming back to haunt us just as boeser, goldobin et al will be looking for their next big contracts etc.

I admit I really can’t wrap my head around the details of the byproduct raping the bettman gave us through Gillis...
But what say, Lindenning trades that former panther Dman that no one seems to want to give the big contract to for luongo then convince Roberto to retire a Canuck and give him a front office job or maybe a coaching gig or even pay him to sip grappa on a beach somewhere?

Would that get us out from under on two contracts; the Dman no one wants to pay and our man luo?

I’m asking because I remember reading your posts awhile back on the recapture thingy...

I'm happy letting Granlund and Gaunce cover Jake's ass when the inevitable occurs.

For now, don't fix what isn't broken and I still see Jake's fragility.

Brock is seeing double teaming and top defenders since his stroll down Pennsylvania Avenue awoke the league.

I just don’t think Sutter can get those two guys the puck often enough. I do like Eriksson and Vanek together though. Put Gaunce at centre with Virtanen and Goldobin. Shoot Sutter into space

Can you imagine the screaming from the fans if this happened. They would have to call it upper or lower body injury. As others said he is starting to get the top opposing teams checkers now so he needs to learn to battle through it.

Ya the fans would scream and yes he needs to learn to battle through it. But he took a big hit from Hall and was a little wobbly. He's looked tired since. Not saying he has concussions symptoms because that hasn't been reported. Just saying he hasn't had the luxury, ever, in his career to play this many games in such a short period of time, with all the travel.

Why not put Goldobin in for a game or two and give Boeser a maintenance day or two. It may also light a fire under him knowing he has to learn to battle through and not start coasting and doing flyby checks. That soft play he showed in the prospects camp and a lot of training camp is on display right now and it looks like a little fatigue. Maybe physical, maybe mental.

Anyway, I'm really not worried about him. But we do have options.
