So it looks like Virtanen, Burmistrov and Boeser will be rotating in and out. Could just as easily do that with a guy like Boucher or Archibald or Gaunce. Virtanen needs to play to improve. I guess these wizards are going to do their best to turn him into a 4th line scrub.

So send Virtanen to Utica where he can play top six and sign Archibald?

Once Gaunce is back he'll get the max games in Utica for conditioning but then be back. Someone will have to go then.

Do you think it's a good idea to play Virtanen 7 minutes a night to develop him ? Remember this was an offensive player at the junior level who had a rotten post draft year in Calgary followed by a meh year in Vancouver and a shitty year in Utica. He has 15 goals over two seasons in the pros. He is Ina fast track to nowhere. Let him rip it up in the A and bring him up after Christmas. I see good signs from the player..... not so much from the people in charge of the kid.

I think folks need to start adjusting expectations for Jake. Boeser, however, should be considered for assignment. Strength + conditioning program, and big-minutes.

Sam Bennett - superstar 4th overall pick
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Let's see if Eriksson is hurt. How did Glass not get a penalty on that?

Get the Sedins off the ice. WTF. A two man advantage and we let them kill it.

This is ugly. Now get that back.

Markstrom really needs to hold the fort for an entire first period.

Why is Green abandoning us? Why has does he insist on putting the twins as the first PP?

Yup and he just gave up a prime shot to make a bad pass to Boeser. Jeez man, you're on that line to shoot not to be a mediocre passer.

Markstrom is good for one bad goal a game... usually early to get it out of the way.

Because they are the most skilled players we have.

And because the 2nd unit still has not proven they can consistently enter the zone, consistently set up and consistently create chances.

If you want to count on Bo going end to end as the PP strategy... then yeah.
