Another one under Markstrom's arm?! Jeez, that's at least 3 bad goals tonight.

Pouliot looks like a young Marc Andre Gragnani.

We should consider hiring Ferraro after Benning - can kindly ask him to put up or shut up.

Green knows best, seems to me to look a lot like WD but without the clip board.

Lets see if he starts to hold the vets accountable for their shit performance.

We have a few “vets” that could use a night off but Green will put away his man penis and frack over a young prospect. So Virtanen in and which younge guy will sit?

Maybe LE should sit, $6 freaking million for that piece of shit player.

Yes GM Benning is a genius.

Plus giving up a Short handed ? Ineptitude at its finest! To bad the Canucks can't decline the Penalties!
Without Hansen or Burrows to dig out the puck and go to the dirty areas the Sedin based PP is a bad joke.
Sadly without Bo and Erikson there was no real 2nd unit to go to.

Sometimes it just sucks to be a Canucks fan ! But on the other hand maybe nuckster will quit sucking on the Swedish Johnson bar  :mex:

The owners are going to be buying out another coach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk about the one who needs the mentoring.

What an idiot.
Your a greenhorn in the NHL ! You might want to try the standard 4 and 1 PP before attempting something fancy.
And while your at it, take off those SS letters from your collar.
Too soon to criticize ? Ah, NO.

Lets hope 'things' get clicking a little better next game around. I think theres a frikin whole lot that Green could do better as a coach ... benching Virt is not on the list to dos given the landscape. Maybe Benning could bring Goldobin up, he's got 7 goals in 7 games. Split the Sedins up, sit Erikson, play Nilson, sit Bartchi. Shit... its not like its going to cost ya a game or something! :D

Yup, Goldobin on a tear. Nilsson should have played one of these 4 games. He did earn it.

How did Nilson earn it?? He really should be seen by Green as being on a par to Markstrom though. Markstrom hasnt proved dick.

RoyalDude wrote:Gillis, what a maroon for drafting Hodgson when he could have drafted the games best defenseman - Erik Karlsson
You know who else is stupid? Neither Chicago nor LA drafted Karlsson, they both bypassed him for players who didn't make it in the NHL. They're so stupid they've won 5 Cups between them from 2009 to 2015. You know who else didn't draft Karlsson? Atlanta, St. Louis, Toronto, Columbus, Nashville, Arizona, Islanders, Buffalo and Carolina. So you can fuck off with your hindsight is 20/20 whining about Gillis not picking Karlsson, a whole lot of stupid GMs didn't think he was worthy either.
If you want to whine, how about Patrick White who was no one's radar screen being picked directly before David Perron? How about the Canucks picks in the 2007 entry draft, the worst draft in their history? That's saying something since they had mostly shitty drafts in their history. Who was the architect again? Oh yeah, Dave Nonis.

Hindsight, Perfecto? Blobbee don't like that word. Speaking of "hindsight" you forgot to mention how teams like the Islanders and Flames could have drafted William Nylander and how the Blue Jackets and Oilers could have drafted Tkachuck.

No kudos for drafting Boeser, Demko, Tryamkin, Gaudette where we did

The legacy of 6 years drafting and development by Mike Gillis - Bo Horvat (at the expense of Schneider), but wait! Gaunce will be back soon!
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Hey Dude, don't forget it took 2 years of bumble-fucking the goalie situation, then having the owner have to beg Lu to come back! I was shocked as hell he found a trade partner other than Florida.

Don't forget Torts was doing a great job of channelling Keenan, but the money-hungry owner panicked at losing revenues and willingly eats the last 4 years of that contract. In comes WD and Canuck Luck... taking the same shit team minus Kesler, 15 years between Sedin and a raw rookie -30 centerman and getting 101 points. Was this the McJesus draft? Oh well, we would have lost that for sure.

Don't forget losing back to back lottery losses after that.

Remember the hindsight heroes bitching and moaning about size and grit? "We need some good ol' Canadian boys and not another sissy Swede who looks like their Mom". That sissy also plays with Auston Matthews.

Oh yeah, those owners don't mind spending to the cap and it's their money, not some guys in their basement. They also want more money. Their rebuilding patience is as good as the peeps here. How many Megnas and Chaputs and retread Defencemen can you dig up until 5 years of drafting ALL end up playing in the NHL? Nobody could even handle one season of these plugs.

So this GM needs to already be contending after the cupboards are entirely bare. All that other GM had to do was take a young core and contend (Yes, he did a very good job of that. Props have to be given.) But in a salary-cap era, you have to build and develop to continue (He did a very shit job of that, hence we are where were at). Didn't he talk about emulating the Detroit model? Was that the "City of Detroit" model? Yes, this GM better turn it around right away or we'll pout damnit!

Two more examples of rebuilds... Winnipeg has taken 8 years to have 1 round of playoffs, 0 playoff games won. They've won the lottery and spent loads on defence, plus they at least had assets to start with. If you include the Atlanta years, how many years of rebuilding. Buffalo... 'nuff said. We don't even need to mention the Alberta teams.

Maybe the peeps here can handle a rebuild? That's like saying they can handle a mortgage, but not the years it takes to pay off.

Holy hell, getting so sick with the constant crying around here.
