Ok .... or he just made a good point, something he does infrequently.Blake Price asked Shorthouse and Tomlinson about the 13 and 5 roster and why Rodin didn't play and Shorthouse had a tantrum and ended the interview. Then again you and Doc and Dude defend EVERY move of this crew so I shouldnt be surprised to see the excuses coming out like clockwork.

I don't like Botchford, Sekeres or Price but at least they have the balls to call out the idiots running the team. Tomlinson, Shorthouse, MacIntyre, Kuzma, Taylor, Macdonald and Marjanovich are nothing more than shills for Lindenning.

Another Botched article.

The only time I ever read his articles are when people here link to them (please stop)

... and every time he reconfirms the fact he is a schmuck.

He says:

"Friday’s game ended before 10 pm. They knew then both Tanev and Hutton were hurt. The Comets were in Utica. It would have been an hour’s drive to Syracuse for Pedan. He could have been on an early morning flight and been in Calgary by 12:30 pm for an 8 pm local start."

Fact is they didn't know Hutton was "hurt" (what he is really saying is "too hurt to play").

Fact is, at least half the players in the NHL are battling injuries of some degree at any given time.

Obviously Hutton was telling them he was good to go

(else, as I pointed out last night, he wouldn't have traveled with the team and took the pre-game warmup).

What if they sent down Gaunce like asswipe suggests and Hutton feels good to go

... but two hurting forwards like Rodin (we know it's bad) + Burr decide they aren't good enough to go?

What then... play Pedan at forward?

PLEASE no more Botchy links...

That was me... I am not sorry.

In this case I agreed with him, I think they new Hutton had an issue and took a chance based maybe on what Hutton said.

But it wasn't a good decision at all. So I agreed.

Ps I will not post links unless I want to.

Regardless, they should have listed Tanev on the IR to make room for calling up someone.

But what if Tanev (Canucks best defenseman) is good to go on Tuesday?

... well he wouldn't be allowed to play Tuesday (or Thursday) because he's on the minimum-one-week IR...

and all the Botched folk would be up in arms about a healthy Tanev sitting out.

Putting Tanev prematurely on IR is not good management either...

So you would have sent Gaunce down and brought up Pedan.

But you can't determine ahead of time which players are too hurt to play.

A lot of hurt players right now and you would've sent down a healthy Gaunce?

0:00 tells us Rodin's knee has flared up, we know Burr is struggling...

What if those two are too injured to play and Hutton pre-game restates he's good to go.

Well now you've got Chapoopoo, Skille, Megna, Boucher and Pedan in your forward lineup

... and the Botched folk are screaming about you sending Gaunce down!

(and bitching about Pedan getting 2 shifts)

Canuckdom is a zoo right now and the Botched One is a poo-flinging monkey.

But he's a monkey who knows all about "giving the people what they want"

... and that most Canuck fans will panic in a rebuild (rather than focusing on 2-3 years down the line).

We're in a rebuild and bitten hard by the injury bug right now, but this too shall pass...

So because of the rebuild and because of injuries we are forced to carry 5 d men ???
Did you see the targeting of those 5 guys?? Even tree wasn't excempt ffs it's dangerous if it's not bad management then it's bad rules ... either way it pissed me right off ...

How about giving more power to the medical staff to diagnose and dictate how long a player will be out, quickly and decisively.
Not the coach.
Not the player.
What a concept!
OK, Chris. That's a second degree bone bruise and you should take 2 weeks off.
Make your decisions accordingly. Might help save lives. We could have been down to four D-men, or worse, last night. Shouldn't happen.
And Yeah, I keep saying, the league needs to tweak the fracking rules.

Note: 1040 trolls us all the time. Just 2 days ago, I make a post, an abstract one, go get in my pick-up 10 minutes later to go to the store, and hear the thing recited word for word on the radio.
I know who 2 of them are but there is always a guy in the back room digging too.
I'm sure I'm not the only one here that's noticed shit like that.
They should donate to the cause. ;) ;) ;)
