Gotta admit, you never know who is going to show up. However I'll take the 4 win streak.

Rodin hasn't had the chance to show what he can do. But he also didn't do enough with what time he had to be trusted in the last 5-7 minutes, over other players. Give it time. It was only his second game back and although I see his offensive promise defensively he didn't show much and we have more proven guys.

WD also put Skille with the twins for a couple of shifts. That worked too.

But on the positive side, he is getting more work for the 2nd PP unit and on the first unit he is sticking with Baertschi. WD is doing enough right now to keep his job. End of the year we'll see.

Another win for the Nucks. It's pretty obvious this team is totally different with Tanev and Edler in there.

To be fair Rodin is like almost a year out of game shape, surgery last spring? out all summer/fall/winter.

All while the team is in mid-season form, depending on if the knee holds up Anton could get going by April onwards...playoff time. :o

If anyone was wondering what that was hanging from the crossbar, it was red paint.
Played a lot of hockey in a lot of rinks but have never seen that before.
Plastic paint. What will they think of next?

Eriksson had that brain cramp with 36 seconds left because he didn't want to ice it.
We were yelling; Ice it, Ice it! We still have our time-out!
It all worked out. :)

It was worse than just not wanting to ice it. He was trying to set up a perfect pass so someone else could carry it out and get a scoring chance. Instead of looking for that perfect pass he had chances to just chip it out over the line. But his face told it all in the end. He knew he almost blew it and I think next time he plays it a little differently. He is usually very reliable in those situations.

Very good point. It has been almost a year. Someone will sign him as a UFA in the offseason and he will turn out to be the next Naslund!

I'd do the same. Chapoo is a good checker and solid faceoff man; Willie D probably wanted to preserve the lead or just get it to OT and come out with at least 1 point. Willie D knows what he has in Chapoo, while Rodin is basically a new player for him. Also, Rodin is known to be an offensive skilled guy and not so much a defensive checker.

lol I hope we sign him to a cheap one year contract, ideally we can see him 100% from training camp onwards.
