We had no business winning that game. 31-8 in last 2 periods. Lucky.

The ugliest hockey there is: "protecting a lead". Hate it!
Really bad when you start doing it with 38 minutes left in the game--(YUK)
Oh well, we're not the only ones. :(

With the development of the big bear Tryamkin, it's going to be an interesting offseason with our influx of right side dmen.
Barring some trades I don't see Juolevi making the team next year. Nursing in Hutton, Trymakin and Stetcher is enough for a couple of years I think. Is Juolevi a L or R?

Of course if he is ready Hutton would make good trade bait.
Looks like Anaheim's Lindholm came in as a 20 year old? I can see Juo do the same if he's not physically ready come September, all depends on his workout plan in the summer for the current 18 year old...

lol hard to believe Olli Juolevi is still only 18, it's no wonder he's still pretty thin.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

No business winning? Really? The goalie is part of the team and he played lights out. Ya we got badly outshot in the 2nd and 3rd but we kept LA for the most part to the outside. These are games we usually lose because we are not generating shots but we got up 2-0 and held our own.

Not pretty I'll give you that but let's start giving credit where it's is due. I mean offensively we sucked. But defensively we played a pretty tight game.

Lucky, Megna hit the post twice, an early whistle on a blown offside negated a Baertschi goal and two other players hit posts or crossbars. So we could have been up by 4-5 goals in the first 30 minuets if not for bad luck.
The only HW the Canucks need

He needs to spend some time at the fresgo inn eating loaded mushroom burgers and chugging milkshakes 3 times a day. The kid looks like i need to donate to unicef for finnish refugees

you don't need to be fat to play in the nhl lol.

all juolevi needs is some lean muscle like niklas lidstrom.

Ah, the Fresgo mushroom burger... I remember it well. The double was so big you didn't need fries. Was that place just good because I was 15, or?

Wasn't it Fresco's? I could be wrong.

That's the way I remember it.
They had a humungous egg burger too.
Nice to see that everyone IS almost as old as me. :(
Back in those days, Chi-chis, were more popular than Pina coladas, (vodka instead of rum),
and they were very generous with the vodka :D

No, pretty sure it was Fresgo's. Ah, the memories of drunken late night meals.

The mushroom burger had more mushrooms than the entire produce section in the Super-Valu across the street.
