Nice contribution.
Lol the Canucks win 3 of 22 in regulation and best a few garbage teams in circus time and you want them to go for it. Brilliant. Yuck is all you deserve. Add in Josi and Eichel and this team still doesn't make the playoffs.
Where did I say go for it? All I'm saying just make a deal to help the team up front since we got a new young defense all of a sudden.

And the team even though we lost a shitload, at least they've been showing a lot of heart and not giving up, they just haven't been able to score all of october and early nov. but now they have improved quite a bit after Sutter was paired with the Sedins and Eriksson found his mojo again, (scorers be streaky).
Canucks first 11 games: 16 goals (1.45/game)

Last 9 games: 28 goals (3.11/game)
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Watched with sound on and learned a few things I did not know.

1) Alex Burrows has been a prolific goal scorer throughout his career.
2) Canucks will be happy to be playing with only five defensmen.

But anyways, the have to get better before they become good so they are destined for at least one or two season of just missing (I still hope for closer to 30th than 20th, this season).
  "benning special 20th place"
Hmmm... two seasons for Benning thus far:

2014–15 NHL – 8th overall

2015-16 – 28th overall

So the average between the two is 18.

I'm thinking this team is a lot closer to to 28 than 8.

Yeah I'm such an advance stats guy. I mean there must be dozens of posts where I discuss advanced stats.

I think you two elders would have a hard time finding one post where I discuss fancy stats.

This oughta be fun.

Lol really reaching here Barney Miller. I referred once to an interview I heard about Sbisa being hemmed in his own zone all the time and that equates to me being an advance stats guy. Keep the giggles coming. Notice how I said nothing about which particular stat the interviewee may have been referring to.

You guys are highly amusing.

Blob Mckenzie wrote: Canucks have five of the worst d men for scoring chances allowed on their roster with the very worst in the entire league being Luca Sbisa . I wonder how the get along gang will spin that .

This team is one of the shittiest teams of the last ten years when it comes to scoring chance differential .

Good find... WOW... Blobby uses the lingo of a hardcore fancy stat man indeed:
Blob Mckenzie wrote: Lol Sbisa is getting crushed in every stat from corsi to chances against to the fucking eye test . I don't put a ton of stock into fancy stats especially in hockey chances against seems something to pay attention to . Time of possession is a good stat but not one I would use when assessing this player . If you can't figure out for yourself that he is a liability in his own zone and is a constant fire drill just from watching him you either have an agenda or he is a relative .

Btw is was Ryhs Jessop who was in the interview . To me chances against is about the best way to break down defensive play that I have heard of to this point . But I guess everyone is just a Sbisa hater - that must be it .
OMG wot a geek!!!

Yes one post out of 6000. Gotta hang onto something I guess. When your boys (Elmer, Wiwie) are getting crushed and are on their way to being drummed out of the NHL one wonders whose nuts you guys will cradle.
