Any worse than the game where one of the Sedin's was injured and missed several games against the same team? (I think it was SJ)

It was a great open ice hit, no head contact. Just like ten minutes late!

How many goals have we given up in the first minute or last minute of play? We've done both tonight.

But now we don't have a lead to try and protect in the third. We might just win this.

Baertschi is playing some good hockey. His confidence is really showing. Next year I think he breaks out and gets 25-30 goals, 60 points.

Reimer should be fined for playing soccer.

Thug-Dank makes another appearance, takes out one of the league's pests. Either Dank is super-strong or Wingels deliberately drives his own face into the glass.

I like Pedan's size and physical game, but boy a few games ago, he was pretty horrible. He was giving away the puck and caught out of position a few times. Hopefully he'll get better with experience. If not, he'll be a career minor leaguer and another wasted pick.

Did we give up a pick for him?

I thought he started slow but has looked good recently. He needs to play these last few games for sure though.

3rd rounder + Alexandre Mallet to the Islanders for Pedan.

That pick was then traded to Buffalo as part of a package for Neuvirth.

It then went to Pittsburgh as compensation for Buffalo signing Bylsma.

And finally back to us in the Sutter deal where we gave them Anaheim's 2nd rounder (Bieksa) and we get the better of our own 3rd, or the Islanders 3rd rounder.

But hey lets look at the Bonino Sutter trade regarding that 3rd round pick. We gave Pitts Anaheims 2nd in that deal, they gave us back our 3rd pick from the Mallet deal. As of now. Anaheims 2nd is 54th overall, our 3rd is 63rd overall. Not too far apart from each other. Benning is a genius.

Give Pedan some time to get comfortable back there, he's the beast we need back there. I like some of things I'm seeing from him

Mallet is in the ECHL. A Gillis 2nd round pick beauty.
