Hansen and Weber skating with the team but won't play. Weber is close, day to day. Hansen is almost day to day so I guess that makes him game to game.

No line up changes although McCann practiced at wing with Vey at centre. Burrows practiced with the twins. WD has not released his line up yet so who knows how it will unfold in the shake and bake world of Wee Willie.

Apparently Danks comments were aimed at the kids, Vey, McCann, Virtanen and Etem. If this is how they play/audition for next year then I can see Vey gone, McCann and Virtanen getting a wake call in Utica and Etem a one year last chance on a show me deal.

The only importance to this game is draft seeding. We all know, in our hearts and minds, how we want this one to end.

We want Markstrom to shine, stand on his head, show us he is the future.

We want Tryamkin and Pedan to knock the shit out of anyone in the wrong jersey that crosses our blue line of stands in front of our next. We want 8 hard hits each, not between them.

We want the kids up front to play balls to the wall, metal to the pedal, finish every check hockey.

We want to get at least one goal.

Never cheering for a Canuck's loss, we want the Jets to win in regulation.

Not nearly enough to overturn that goal, and at this stage I'm ok with that. Markstrom has looked good though. Also, taking a look at the Canucks remaining schedule, yikes, there is a very real possibility that they may not win again this season. It's a tough schedule.
