Did you see his passion when he scored? When was the last time?

What about Horvat's after he scored? That's what a new vibe feels like. I don't think the Twins were BS-ing when they said they were looking forward to that energy.

Bartowski has had a rough game so far, 2 bad penalties and a couple of bad turnovers.

No shit. Up against the top line and you try to smoke Gaudreau in the same corner your partner is headed. He's better than that.

Agree, poor play by him. All he needed to do was chip it ahead.

what did he have to do with the loss?

Nucks were lucky to get 1 point, they really ran out of gas in the last period.

Overall play, he did nothing all night. He is a perimeter player, won't go to the net.

Tanev shouldn't be on the 3 on 3.WTF was he doing with horvat/vrbata.

3rd period meltdown for the team, gotta learn to have that killer instinct, as they continue to let Monahan & Gaudreau dominate.

Defense not the same without Edler.

This team once again wouldn't be in this game without Miller and the rookies.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

I saw flashes of what he can do tonight - he created the traffic in front necessary to give Horvat space for his goal - not exactly perimeter there. He made some good plays in the offensive zone, but the play didn't end up in a score. Not like he did anything egregious out there. I'd give him more rope.

Miller held the guys in in the 3rd, but Hamhuis' brain fart killed them. The Twins and Hutton had their chances in OT but couldn't click while the Flamers managed to capitalize on what - their only chance in OT?

Not the same effort by our team while Calgary amped it up all game - and still had to pull it out in the 3rd. I'd have loved for them to win both but I'm alright with taking 3 of 4 points out of this home-and-home.

Hartley was trying to get his top line out against Vancouver's 4th all night long. That said, it seemd to me that it wasn't so much Vancouver's defence being slow but the forwards couldn't stay with Calgary's top line in the defensive zone. More youth and speed will fix that.

McCann way more noticeable this game than last and deserved his goal. That said, he still made a couple of rookie mistakes out there as did Hutton. I think even Willie will take that, given none of the goals against resulted from rookie flubs.

Flush it out, practice and on to the next game.
