At least the linesmen can count...Hockey Widow wrote:Two obvious high sticks and one blatant cross checking and no calls.
And then that bs call, nice dive.

It's been a while since we've seen such a run of games where the refs put the whistles in their pocket for the other team.

Great win for Lack. Not only did he need to play he needed to win. He made some great saves tonight.
Hamhuis can't get back soon enough especially with Weber and Sbisa getting banged up.
Vey played with a Kassian mentality. Once he got back in he played liked he wanted to stay. With Richardson hurt again hopefully Vrbata will be back.
Nice win for the guys.

And yet we've still managed 5-1-1 in the last 7 games.Mëds wrote:

Pretty solid game from the team all around. With Vrbata out and the Isles coming off a humiliating loss to the Oil, I thought NYI might have the Canucks on their heals all night, but not really. Good work. Once again, of course, more "casual, don't take the extra stride when lazily reaching out with my stick will do Kevin Bieksa play" made the game closer than it needed to be. A 4.6 mill cap hit for this nonsense, at least there is only one year left after this with him.
